We survive off of donations for running costs as well as for groceries. Our mission is to be a service to Dexter and the surrounding communities. We are located in Piscataquis County which is the poorest country in the state of Maine, but you’ll never meet a nicer group of people. Your donations keep us open and available as costs keep rising across the country we are able to serve members of the community as a greater need arises. Please consider helping us in this effort by donating to Gatherings. If you are in the area drop in and come see us, we would love to meet you.
Volunteer
We are always looking for dependable volunteers that want to make a difference in this community. Volunteers both inside the kitchen and outside the kitchen are needed to keep this place thriving in our community. If you are looking for volunteer hours to graduate or you are just looking for something to do we would be more than happy to have you on board at Gatherings. We work hard but we always have fun doing it.
